In the early 17th century, new glass mirrors were sent to Iran. Broken in transit, they were reimagined through traditional Iranian craftsmanship, blending resourcefulness with creativity in a new style known as Iranian Mirrorwork, or “Ayeneh-kari.” Inspired by this heritage, we now apply the same approach within the circular economy, and Resourcefulness lies at the core of our vision at mirroRE (Mirror REflection REimaging).
By activating the contemporary potential of Iranian mirror work, characterized by its bespoke nature, unique reflective quality and resourcefulness in circular and upcycling design, we craft a meaningful dialogue with current interior design trends, allowing designers and creative professionals to embed mirrorwork into any form of their creative designs.
We, with a mirror in hand, reflect the light of the past into tomorrow’s interiors, which we believe embodies one of the meanings of circularity.
