Pressence

A lighting serie shaped by tension

Pressence Lights — © Anya van de Wetering - Kamer 465

Each lamp is shaped by putting ultra-thin metal under tension, creating elegant curves and unexpected silhouettes.
Available in three distinct forms, the lamps reveal the beauty of material restraint and the subtle play of light across their surfaces.

Shifting shapes

The Pressence collection explores how tension gives shape and character to light. Stretched and held in a state of tension, the metal is transformed into a sculptural piece.

For Dutch Design Week, the series expands with newly unveiled wall lamps, presented in two forms and three metal finishes.
Across the collection, tension becomes a quiet force that shapes both form and light.

About Atelier Makr

Marie van der Kroft sees design as something alive. Objects don’t have to sit still, but can move, shift, and surprise. By playing with tension and flexibility she creates interior pieces that respond to touch, changing shape and offering a new experience with every interaction. The result is a collection that adds a personal touch to spaces, making objects and homes feel more connected to the owner.
