Composer Mirusi Mergina invites you into a living composition that blurs the line between performance and presence. Step into an immersive space where the boundaries between self and sound dissolve — an unfolding experience that invites you to listen deeply.
Resonance of the Self
Mirusi Mergina invites you into an immersive installation shaped by the subtle, ever-shifting rhythms of her own body. Her shifting physical and emotional states are real time connected to the musical piece, creating a fluid and responsive sonic landscape.
Surrounded by soft darkness and flickers of maybe-light the environment draws you inward. You are not just a listener; you become a silent witness to her vulnerability. Listening becomes a form of connection—not only to the artist, but also to your own internal world.
This immersive installation blurs the line between composer and composition, between performance and presence. At the heart of Mirusi Mergina’s work lies a central question:
How can we listen more deeply — to others, and to ourselves?
The origins
This project emerged from the artist's deep fascination for psychology, vulnerability, and a longing to dissolve the boundaries between body, sound, and audience. At its core lies an exploration of what it means to connect with music in the most intimate way — where the composer is not separate from the composition, but fully present within it. It invites a shared space of listening, where presence becomes the medium for connection.
