De Makersmarkt is a collective of freshly graduated design students. We present work from four of our participants who each specialize in their own field of design. We make to help people, bring a new perspective, spark joy or to bring wonder.
Why? we can't help it, we love to make.
Our Collective 2025
De Makersmarkt is a group of designers that all studied at the same academy, and are working together after their graduation to strenghten each others practice. We share tools and workspaces, ideas and inspiration.
A brief introduction to our members;
Judith Spil
Judith is very detail oriented. She repurposes materials to create kinetic art that combines motion and language to create humorous and suprising pieces of art.
Nean Lotze
A maker who designs based on problems that he sees around him, big and small. He uses both digital techniques and hands on manufacturing to create his very useful and inspiring pieces.
Bowen de Boer
A maker who draws heavily on the influence of the craftsman to create his functional designs. Borrowing fine woodworking techniques for his furniture, and using a refreshing design sense in his guitars, he tries to create meaningful work that lasts.
