Luister Objecten

What does this moment sound like?

Listening Objects explores how sound can connect us to the present moment. Artist Florentien Stikkelorum creates ceramic objects and listening experiences that invite visitors to slow down, sharpen their attention, and experience the now with all their senses.

Presence

Listening Objects explores the power of listening as an anchor in the here and now. In a world often dominated by speed and distraction, this project invites visitors to shift their attention to the present moment. Sound is approached not as background, but as a material which brings us into presence.

Form

The installation consists of objects that render sound tangible and spatial. By experiencing and interacting with these objects, a listening space emerges in which silence, resonance and material converge. Each object serves as an invitation to hear, feel and perceive more deeply.

Experience

Visitors are encouraged to slow down and realign themselves with their immediate surroundings. Listening Objects reveals what would otherwise remain unnoticed, offering an experience that transcends the everyday: a moment of connection with the now.
