Lux Keri

An interactive light art installation.

Lux Keri in Action — © Nane Neu

Lux Keri is an interactive light tube installation. It invites visitors to explore magical worlds of colour on their own and to actively influence the light of the tubes. It also offers the opportunity to play a game in which the goal is to protect a flickering fire that has spread across the tubes.

Colour Worlds

Lux Keri invites visitors to explore colour worlds on their own and to influence the light of the tubes. This awakens their playfulness and curiosity.
This could happen:

• A color can be added or removed.
• The colors reposition themselves by moving up or down.
• The color spectrum can change by selecting the next or previous palette.
• It can also become lighter or darker.

Events are triggered by activating the sensors. This is caused by the visitor simply swiping their hand under the tubes.

Game: Catch Me!

Alternatively, you can play Catch Me, a game in which you need to quickly reach the trigger of a tube to save the fire simulation from being extinguished by water coming from above. The game is designed to continuously offer a wondrous play of colors and light. You could say it plays itself. However, if you want, you can intervene in the action and play along.
