Coffee Making Reimagined

Sculptural Objects for Everyday Rituals

Stone Drip Coffee Maker — © Sabine Boger

Coffee Making Reimagined presents coffee makers as striking sculptural centerpieces. Drawing on the bold language of 1980s postmodernism, Tina Bobbe merges playful geometry, vivid form, and crafted detail to elevate the coffee ritual into a statement of individuality and joy.

Objects

For Dutch Design Week, Tina presents two works: Pipe Frame Mini and Stone Drip. Pipe Frame Mini is a smaller reinterpretation of her iconic Pipe Frame, designed to wrap around a classic espresso machine and turn it into a centerpiece of form and function. Stone Drip, by contrast, is a poetic take on pour-over coffee, merging natural materials with sculptural lines to create a ritual object that blurs the boundary between tool and artwork. Both pieces are handmade in Germany, highlighting craftsmanship as a vital counterpart to digital design explorations.
