Light of Things

A collective exploration of familiar objects, materials and behaviours through light.

.STL series — © Maya Matsuura

OBJETFORMT presents .STL and Microwave Light alongside lighting works by invited artists. Together, the exhibition explores how familiar objects, materials and everyday behaviours can be transformed through light, fabrication and interaction.

Everyday Forms

Light of Things brings together .STL and Microwave Light by OBJETFORMT with lighting works by invited artists. The exhibition explores how light can shift the way familiar objects, materials and behaviours are perceived. Packaging, domestic appliances and other everyday references become starting points for reconsidering what makes an object ordinary, functional or worth keeping.

About OBJETFORMT

OBJETFORMT is an Eindhoven-based collaborative practice founded by Marie Kang and Jaehoon Kong. Working across art, design and digital fabrication, the studio transforms overlooked everyday forms and behaviours into objects with new functions and meanings. Its work combines conceptual research, material experimentation and technical development, often resulting in finite, studio-produced editions.
