Social Listening Sessions brings music, sound design and people together for three evenings at PLAN-B. Across the programme, visitors are invited to listen closely, discover different approaches to sound and experience music as something shared.
Thursday, 22 October | Record Night with Kinef Designs
Share the Music Behind the Music
The series opens with an evening built around the stories behind the songs we love. Guests are invited to bring a vinyl record or CD, choose one or two tracks, and share the memory, meaning or story connected to the music.
Each contribution becomes part of a collective listening experience, with the music played through Kinef Designs’ handcrafted high-fidelity speakers. Come prepared to share, or simply settle in and discover what others bring to the room.
Friday, 23 October | Live Synthesizer Performance with Synth Ceremony
Synth Ceremony explores the meeting point between human intuition and electronic machines. Through synthesizers and hardware, sound and rhythm unfold live in an evolving performance shaped in the moment.
Visitors are invited to listen closely as the music develops in real time, experiencing electronic sound as something live, physical and constantly changing.
Saturday, 24 October | Immersive Sound Performance with VVESSEL
VVESSEL closes the series with a live set exploring the relationship between sound and physical space. Drones, modular rhythms and improvisation gradually build an immersive listening environment.
The performance brings together atmosphere, experimentation and rhythm, inviting the audience to experience sound not just as music, but as something that can shape the space around them.
