Re-Creating life

Small exhibition, hosted by design students.

Cellelecence

Welcome to Het Beun Collectief, a collective of Industrial Design students. This year we are giving fellow students and friends to present their projects in our studio, all within the theme Re-Creating Life.

What to see at Het Beun Collectief this year?

This year we are hosting the works of five designers.
From ceramic artwork, and functional objects, to statement pieces.

With:

Stefanie Aerts, with: Person in a Pot, ceramics;
As a beginning potterist, Steef is inspired by the people around her and finds though exploration her ceramic creations to be a product of these people.

Margot Beekhuizen, with: Metamorphosis, grass sculpture;
Inspired by the myth of Daphne’s metamorphosis, this project explores transformation and the blurred boundary between human and nature.

Jan Jenneskens, with: Lumen Harmony, light sculpture;
Lumen harmony is an interactive light installation to visualise and promote family engagement around the dinner table.

Joke Beltman, with: Personality Tables and Coat stand, ceramic art;
Exploring proposals for a new iconography that metaphors people, culture and desires. A collection of decorative, yet suggestive sculptures.

Cara Jacobs, with Hub-it, product design;
Hub-it is an analogue companion in this digital world, to help you stay focused through the habit of zooming in.

Come and see te works in our studio during Dutch Design Week!

About Het Beun Collectief

Het Beun Collectief, is a collective startup that started in 2024, with Industrial Design students from the TU/e. What started as a search for a workshop to work on personal projects, grew into a collaborative design space, filled with machines and tools. A space where we are able to learn, help, and motivate each other, within our projects, studies, and companies.
