Alien Vases is a series of unique ceramic objects, created using a modular mould system. Due to a glitch in the system, the forms have become unpredictable. Each vase has its own character — shaped somewhere between control and chaos.
Alien Vases – From Another Dimension
Alien Vases is an innovative project in which ceramic objects are created using a modular mould system, operated by droids we control from our command room. The technology was designed to produce ceramics in an efficient and controlled manner, but due to a mysterious glitch in the system, the droids are no longer fully under our control.
As a result, the droids have developed a life of their own, and the outcome is different every time. No two vases are the same — each form has its own character and identity.
Alien Vases is an experiment at the intersection of technology, craft, and chance, where the role of the maker shifts and space emerges for the unexpected.
