Welke rol speelt de bibliotheek in de toekomst?

Tomorrow isn’t just ahead, we’re already part of it. In the Brainport region, we are building the Library of the Future today: accessible, human, and inclusive. We look at how digital and physical worlds meet, and the important role the library plays in this.

Shaping the Library of the Future together

We co-design with young people and partners, connecting face-to-face encounters with smart digital tools, and showing how libraries are already making a difference. On 22 October, we’ll share what’s in place, what we’ve learned, and the direction we’re moving towards together. Join us to experience the perspectives of young people, conversations with researchers, policymakers, and creators. Be part of a first: the launch of our intelligent AI assistant, Boekbot.

About Bibliotheken in de Brainportregio

Building the Library of the Future is a project by eight libraries working together in the Brainport region, home to over 1 million people across 29 municipalities. Young people aged 15 to 25 are helping to design the library of the future. We imagine, build, and test. Our mission is to serve as many connected users as possible when it comes to reading, learning, meeting, asking questions, and taking part. In ways that suit them.
