Behind this simple and playful intervention lies a questioning of our relationship with nature. BLUMENWIESE explores how we perceive and manage our environment, and encourages us to reflect on the positive impact we can have as individuals.
About BLUMENWIESE
The main idea behind BLUMENWIESE is simple: Painting Flowers on Grass, to create a symbolic flower meadow. Suddenly earth blooms – regardless of seasons or climatic logic. With this surrealist, temporary intervention, the aim is to recognize our environment as a collectively shaped playground that we’re all part of and free to contribute to. It's a message of empowerment, and a reminder that nature is our culture. A universal culture that goes beyond gender or race. Culture is what we make of it. We shouldn’t wait for better times, but actively co-create the culture we would like to be established.
