The CO2Balance collection embodies the core mission of ReHemptation: to lead the transition toward truly carbon-negative, tree-free meeting spaces. By rethinking how public and corporate environments are furnished, ReHemptation utilizes Strumber—an advanced hemp biocomposite—to actively sequester carbon and eliminate reliance on timber and fossil-based plastics. The project is rooted in the belief that sustainability must be holistic. It bridges environmental decarbonization (Scope 3 reduction) with social responsibility, crafting inclusive furniture that fosters human connection, sensory accessibility, and natural harmony.

Grounded in material research aligned with IPK guidelines, CO2Balance merges sustainable engineering with universal design principles. The collection addresses human sensory needs through tactile 45-degree chamfers, shadow-edges, and non-glare surfaces for visually impaired users, alongside sound-absorbing hemp fibers and elastomeric isolators that optimize acoustic clarity for hearing aid users. By combining R&D innovation with IPK standards, ReHemptation transforms social responsibility into tangible spatial solutions.
