Your Delft Blue: A Contemporary Porcelain Workshop

A workshop in our atelier: learn how Delft Blue porcelain was made, then decorate your own plate with blue underglaze and our MOCA dripping technique.

Contemporary Delft Blue plate

Join us at our Eindhoven studio for a hands-on Delft Blue workshop. Decorate your own Moca Tableware porcelain piece using cobalt blue underglaze, traditional techniques, and our signature MOCA dripping process. No experience is needed!

Hands-on Workshop

During Dutch Design Week, join us at our Eindhoven studio in Strijp-T for a hands-on workshop exploring a contemporary take on Delft Blue. Decorate your own MOCA Tableware porcelain plate in cobalt blue, working with underglaze, stamping and our signature dripping technique.

No ceramic experience needed. We guide you through each step and leave you free to develop your own interpretation.

Your ticket includes one 19 cm porcelain plate to decorate. If you want to keep going, more MOCA pieces are available to decorate and buy during the workshop: cups, bowls, smaller and larger plates.

Our dripping technique

MOCA Tableware combines handmade processes with digital and industrial techniques to make contemporary porcelain.

For this workshop, we open up our self-developed dripping process: cobalt-coloured glaze dripped over the plate by a machine we invented, leaving patterns no one can fully predict and a piece that cannot be repeated. You will experience the balance between control and accident that sits at the heart of our practice, and for one morning it is yours to play with.

Your own Moca Tableware plate

Your ticket includes one 19 cm MOCA Tableware porcelain plate. Each session runs for 2.5 to 3 hours and opens with coffee or tea and a short introduction to our studio, our practice, and Delft Blue as the starting point for the morning.

Want to make more? Additional MOCA pieces are available to decorate and buy during the workshop.

Coffee and tea will be available throughout the session, so make yourself at home while you experiment.

Afterwards, we glaze and fire your piece in our studio, ready for you to collect or have shipped. You are also welcome to browse the full MOCA Tableware collection during your visit.

About Moca Tableware / Studio Joachim-Morineau

Moca Tableware is the ceramic brand of Studio Joachim-Morineau, founded by Carla Joachim and Jordan Morineau in Eindhoven. It grew from our 2018 Design Academy Eindhoven graduation project and became an independent brand in 2024. We design and produce porcelain in our ateliers in Eindhoven and Nantes, exploring how industrial processes can create series while keeping each piece unique through our self-developed dripping technique.
