The Purple Show

Suze van der Vleuten

Fashion designer Rens Kwakkenbos makes distinctive streetwear from old textiles and deadstock. At The Purple Show during Dutch Design Week, he shows how reuse, self-expression and inclusivity come together in his clothing designs.

For The Purple Show, Rens Kwakkenbos makes distinctive streetwear from old textiles and deadstock: unused leftover fabric stock. By reusing existing textiles and experimenting with shape, colour and material, Rens offers a sustainable alternative to fast fashion.
