Young people and politics aren't always the perfect match. While young people have plenty to say, their opinions don't always reach those in power. So how can we change that? Together with the Province of North Brabant, De Reuringdienst is exploring fun and accessible ways to get young people involved in politics. No complicated questionnaires, just the power of play!

During Dutch Design Week, we're presenting CATCH – CHOOSE – WEAR IT! A physical voting guide of sorts, where young people playfully discover what really matters to them. They pick a theme, catch five little boats featuring social issues, and make choices along the way. Through play, we gather their opinions on the future of Brabant.

And those opinions won't just disappear into a report. Instead, they're turned into personalised fashion accessories featuring bold, thought-provoking statements. Opinions you can literally wear! Together with Young Professionals Brabant, the insights collected will help shape a youth agenda, which will be presented to the new provincial government after the March 2027 elections. Turning play into a way to get both young people and politics moving!
