OBJETFORMT creates limited-edition objects that translate digital formats into tangible design. Its debut at Dutch Design Week 2025 features the .stl series and collaborative works, transforming overlooked formats into lasting objects of meaning.
PACKAGING LIGHT
<STRUCTURED TO EXIST> is OBJETFORMT’s debut project, presenting the .stl series at Dutch Design Week 2025. The series takes its inspiration from leftover packages that accumulate in everyday life—boxes and wrappings that are kept for a while, stacked temporarily in corners of the house, and eventually discarded. When piled on top of each other, these packages create unintentional structures: geometric yet fragile, ordinary yet strangely sculptural. By capturing these overlooked moments of form and translating them into minimal 3D-printed lamps, the project reimagines what is usually waste as a source of design. At its core lies a paradox. Light itself has no form, and packaging is normally meant to hide what is inside until the moment of unboxing. In this series, however, light is what is being packaged—contained yet revealed, visible without needing to be opened. Each lamp embodies this tension, transforming disposable packages into enduring structures that give shape to the intangible and invite new ways of seeing the everyday.
COLLABORATIONS
This exhibition also presents collaborative works with invited artists and designers. These collaborations expand its vision, showing how different practices—whether rooted in nature, drawing, or digital formats—can be translated into limited editions. By bringing diverse voices together, this exhibition highlights the value of cross-disciplinary exchange and positions itself not only as a brand presentation but as a platform where ideas, formats, and makers converge.
