How many hands make a studio?

Nacho Carbonell reveals its many faces - shaped by generations of makers / artists. Seventeen years of individuals will share their work and research, continuing or breaking with the rhythms of the working day. Offering a collaborative experience shaped by what has happened once official hours end.

Is a fluid exhibition where past and present meets under the common genesis of after-work projects

Since 2007, Nacho Carbonell Studio has been a place of many encounters and a laboratory of ideas for the people passing through this space. People met, works were done, careers started, directions changed, passions discovered; however, the space remained. It was time for us to join, meet, and share experiences. Now we offer the public the opportunity to encounter the diverse and complex facets of the hands that build the studio with Nacho.
All coming from different countries and generations, most of them are now working in different fields and places. Some shared many years of working together; some never met before this exhibition. Nevertheless, their works resonate with each other as common interests for certain qualities of materials, textures, and shapes. We invite you to sit at our table and let each of us present ourselves with their work, happy to share our common love for creation. Let all of us enjoy a freeze-frame, the present moment of community, while finally showing all our personalities.
