Many Ways to Pee

By relating to these unconventional pots You'll start start to think differently about singular characteristics of sanitary design.

I stand with you

Corporeal urinals of ceramics to tantalize the creativity.

The lack of public bathrooms

With these pots it should become sensible how other (toilet) pots affect our thinking about public toilets. With the playful character of these pots it speaks to both young and old. Our public spaces and the lack of public bathrooms are a reflection of the values of society.
From different angles I approach the public bathroom to make mostly undiscussed subject, debatable via humour.
In the public toilet you're at your most vulnerable, the social morés around the public toilet make it hard challenging subject.
A place that you won't look for until you really have to go.

Ode to the Lady P

This wall mounted toilet is one of my more functional works (The hooded figure), when flushing the bowl will fill up more and more until it flushed through all in one go, Thanks to the tubes in the belly of the pot.
Inspired by Marian Loth - Lady P a contactless female urinal designed to make it easier and more hygiënic for women to pee.
I cary on with this design to explore the possibilities of peeing standing up and to make these in a sculptural way.
From here I also got the standing urinal (I stand with you) wich with cartoonist legs stands with you together in the stall. It's shy demeanor perhaps giving whomever is using it a feeling of being understood.

About Mozes Bedaux

My work is about mundane needs and the embarrasment around it.
Aproaching subjects of shame with humour. With my background in ceramics I can make the wild pots to let any one pee standing up. That's how I celebrate in my sculptures these everyday needs.
