Seeds of Renewal

Regrowing meaning from discarded roots and brainwaves.

Designer Aga Blonska presents Seeds of Renewal, a collection of biobased furniture and wall art. Debuted during the Dutch Design Week 2024, the project explores how to give new life to waste by utilising tree roots, AI, and emotion, thereby merging nature and technology through circular design.

Planting Seeds of Future Design

Seeds of Renewal poetically explores rebirth through material. Roots of trees, cut for industrial use and once discarded as waste, are now turned into sculptural tables and panels. The table surfaces display patterns inspired by peach seeds, which symbolise memory and growth. Each piece reclaims overlooked matter, transforming it into art with renewed purpose. CoWave’s wall panel, shaped by positive brainwaves, unifies the collection, showcasing a design rooted in emotion. From roots to seed, waste to wonder, this collection envisions a future where objects are both sustainable and soulful.
